I just wanted to share on a separate note Wonderful News! No, I am NOT pregnant…

We became godparents!! Our good friends Carmen & Adam have an adorable one-year-old daughter named Mia, and they gave us the honor to ask us if we would like to be Mia’s godparents. We were so thrilled!!!

Wir sind Pateneltern geworden!! Unsere guten Freunde Carmen & Adam haben eine bezaubernde ein Jahr alte Tochter, mit dem Namen Mia und sie haben und sie Ehre gemacht uns zu fragen, ob wir Mia’s Pateneltern sein möchten. Wir haben uns soooo gefreut!!!

  English Where are we now? Well, at the beginning of January, we fled the cold and wet from Germany and made our way to hot and sunny Thailand! Our flight was good, and we entered the country with no issues. I don't know how much you are following the News, but there was confusion about whether or not Thailand required proof of vaccination against COVID. When we checked in at the airport in Munich, they wanted us to show our vaccination cards; when we entered the country through immigration, they did not ask for them. We flew into Bangkok and readily embraced the warmth! I had all sorts of ambitions for what I wanted to see and do since we had only two full days in the city. Thailand is six hours ahead of Germany; jetlag is usually not a problem for me and I adjust pretty quickly. However, this time, I have a hard time getting into the groove of things. I will admit I am also not trying very hard. In Bangkok, the nightlife is active, and our hotel was in a vibrant area. So
