Once around the World

We arrived via plane at the beginning of September and spent one week in the capital. Since we are trying to make the money we have saved up last as long as possible we try to choose cheaper but reasonable accommodations. So, for London, we decided to stay in a dorm in a hostel. How did that look like you wonder? Well, this meant sleeping in the same room with 13 other random people in bunk beds. One bunk had three beds stacked; guess who slept in the top one – correct, me! Hello everybody, Welcome to my/our blog! Thank you so much for checking it out and having an interest in our unique adventure. I hope you will enjoy what I have to share. We figured this is the easiest way to let everyone know what we are up to; believe it or not, we currently have family and friends located over four different continents (North America, Europe, Africa, Asia) and in quite a few different countries (US, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Spain, Georgia, Namibia, Philippines – did I forget anyone? 😊 ). I aim to post about once a week and will do so in English, German and Spanish.
